After Scott Pilgrim's failure (and don't get us wrong: we love that movie), we're a bit hesitant if such nerdy adventures have a chance outside of their core audience nowadays. Industry-watchers have been rethinking the power and influence of the Comic-Con set, and Paul, which sounds like a pitch direct from San Diego, could join the ranks of perceived non-starters who first generated hype at the event. Really we're thinking and imagining it'll simply be the latest in the beloved Pegg/Frost canon.[endtext]
